To increase security for users on the Bopple platform, phone number verification is being introduced when creating accounts and placing orders.
When you log in or sign up
If you log in to an account when ordering or using an app or web experience powered by Bopple, you may be asked to verify your phone number. Your verified number will be stored on your account, and will provide you with:
- Increased account security
- Faster login and account verification experience
- Easier account recovery
When you order as a guest
If you place orders without logging in, you may still be asked to verify your phone number. This is to protect against fraud and the use of stolen credit card information. If you do not verify your phone number when requested, your order will not be placed.
Verifying your phone number
The process to verify your number when prompted is simple.
- Confirm your mobile number
- Tap the button to send your verification code
- Within a few seconds, you will receive and SMS with a 4-digit code
- Enter the code into the screen and tap the button to confirm
