It is possible to setup fees to apply to customer orders. You may wish to do this if you offer home delivery, or if you apply a surcharge on public holidays.
Important: We advise against the use a fee on all orders to cover payment processing costs, as this disincentivises customer usage. Allowing customers to order and pay in advance creates various operational efficiencies for venues and we don't believe customers should be penalised for ordering this way. Consider adjusting your overall pricing instead to account for this cost. Venues charging fees of this nature may be excluded from Bopple's in-app promotions such asNew on Bopple

Fee display
Fees are shown to customers at various points in the apps, primarily in the order preview or "cart" and on the checkout screen.
It's important to note that for some fees, such as delivery fees, the fee won't be shown until the customer has selected that as their order type and provided a delivery address. In some cases this does not happen until they are on the checkout screen.

FAQs
Can I create a discount that waives the delivery fee?
You can create a discount code of the same value as the delivery fee which can be applied to orders, but fees themselves are not eligible for discounts. The promo code will discount the rest of the order, and the fee will still be applied/shown.
Can I set a fee to only apply to orders under a certain value?
Unfortunately this isn't an option in the fee setup at present.
Can I set a fee to only apply on a certain date or day of week?
Unfortunately this isn't an option in the fee setup at present.
What happens if I setup multiple fees?
When the fees are calculated in the apps any fee that the order is eligible for will be applied. It is possible for an order to have multiple fees, so please consider this carefully when setting up fees.
